Fake Healer

I prey upon your morbid fear
Of terminal disease
You won't know the difference
Now it's time for surgery
Another shot, another pill
Two weeks therapy
I take all major credit cards
Your money is what I need

I'm a healer
I will keep you all alive
I'm a healer

A villain at your bedside
Take this and you'll be fine
Severely educated
Just pay your bill on time
I think it's time for another test
I need more of your blood
Sign this affidavit
So my insurance won't go up

I'm a healer
I will keep you all alive
I'm a healer

Research and development
Spend millions every year
You sickly and decrepit ones
Keep my yacht safe on the pier

You're dying on a stretcher
We'll try to save your life
If you can't afford my service
I will let you die
I'm trusted and respected
Says my diploma on the wall
Before I will do anything
I'll give your bank a call

I'm a healer
I will keep you all alive
I'm a healer

Watch the Children Pray

In a darkened graveyard glows a light.
I see it shine there every night.
I know somewhere there's a hidden door.
There's an answer here we must explore.

No, I'll not submit to reason.
I'll sit and watch the seasons change.

We watch the children pray.
Save us God today,
Come whatever may.

We hold our fate and make the choice,
But we'll not listen to that still small voice.
Are we just crazy, out of our minds?
Wish this were someplace, another time.

We watch the children pray.
Save us God today,
Come whatever may.

And I know we're going
So far away from this wretched life we lead.
With open arms meet catastrophe,
In the valley of the damned we'll be.

And I know we're going
So far away from this wretched life we lead.
With open arms meet catastrophe,
In the valley of the damned we'll be.

We watch the children pray.
Save us God today,
Come whatever may.

And now to life we say goodbye.
I know the when but not the why.
Our nation's blood spills on the ground.
Our lives go out without a sound.

I would pick any ten tracks off the S/T disc or The Dark. You know I have a soft spot for old David Wayne. Make a good compilation.

I know you do. That Reverand Disc is pretty cool I like the part where David says "I aint seen this mother fucker this full since Metallica warmed up for Metal Church" LOL

Speaking of Metal Church.... Does Anybody know what the hell ever happened to Mike Howe?

Mike Howe moved to Tennessee, got married and started a family. Not sure if he is still in the music business but Tennessee probably isn't a hotbad for metal talent. In fact, Fuel is from Tennessee, but moved to Pennsylvania to get gigs and they are certainly NOT metal.

Tough to pick ten : /

The Spell Can't be Broken
Badlands
Fake Healer
Anthem to the Estranged
Watch the Children Pray
The Final Word

Any idea why they picked PA? There's nowhere to play besides ghetto bars and the music "scene" is nothing but bands covering songs that were popular 2 years ago. I'm really curious, as I'm from PA and haven't been able to find a single musician who can play anything other than sloppy System of a Down covers or talantless hacks who ask me to be in their band because they like my fucking shirt and claim to play "the heaviest shit, the heavier the better", then are blown away by simple chord progressions that I like to warm up with.
