The whole Dave thing wasn't what they made it out to be. There wasn't any bashing at all. Dave was trying to get Lars to understand all the shit he went through for all those years because of Lars. There is alot of emotion in those scenes and you can see it all in both of their faces. They talked about some of their memories from when they started out. James was in rehab during the interviews and Dave mentioned it twice. I wonder what it would have been like with James there.

I sat my ass down & have watched 1.5 hrs so far, it's really kinda cool & I like how the whole thing comes together...
So far, I think any fan past or present should check it out, at least once...

I might rent it. I won't go to the theater to see it or buy it on DVD. They pretty much left a sour taste in my mouth years ago and it still hasn't went away.

Man, I don't know. I want to see it because I never got to check it out in the theaters but I just think it'll be a nail in the coffin to my slowly deteriorating like for Metallica...I only recently admitted to myself that pretty much everything after Justice has been a "suckfest" of sorts....(Although I will never admit this about KISS! haha) but I really do wanna see the Mustaine moments and I think it'd be cool to see them doing stuff outside of music like surfing and hot rodding, etc. So I don't know...maybe I'll wait for a used copy??? Whatta y'all think?

Have any of you heard exactly how that whole thing with Dave went down as far as the shooting of this documentary? Pretty fucked up shit, if any of it is true.
