Yeah, in this case I think it's even been improved, the face on the original pic looks kinda warped, but its perfect in the tattoo.


On a side note, my sister got her first tattoo yesterday. I've always liked the idea but I don't think I'll be able to get one, I'll always find something wrong with it and be unhappy - such a permanent thing and I'm such a perfectionist.
