Doing a bit of scrounging around through the old session files and I stumbled on a folder where I kept all my guitar videos back when I used to play regularly.

Thought I'd put some up in case some of you were curious to see that I actually did do something else prior to starting all this production nonsense! These were done a few years ago, just as I had stopped practicing regularly. I've got a silly little improv run, and a butchered, frankensteined attempt at various parts of Malmsteen's 'Blitzkrieg' haha.

It's a bit silly, but eh, memories!

Impressive phrasing and vibrato, especially in the improv vid - a pity you don't do it much anymore!

I used to make videos like that all the time. Sometimes it seems a bit silly, but I still think its fun :Spin:

Sometimes me and my friends just try to write sick runs and then record them harmonized, pure shit and giggle content.

Haha nice! Don't force me to look for my old bandmate's Year 12 media project. We did a dual guitar instructional, just me and him, Young Guitar style... the cheese was immense.

@Marcus: Cheers. I regret not getting more of a chance, but the amount of effort required to sustain the engineering career, plus the lack of having an amp for so many years just finally wore me down. I'm hoping if I get one next year it will be the motivation I need to pick it back up.

The cheese is where it be and what it do

Man I have some serious cheese from when I first started playing, I'm talking drummer walking around the room with a cam, flipping it upside down trying to get the metal dvd closeup type cheese. I wish Murphy and Sneap would post some videos for us. If either of you are reading this, dig up some old shred vids for us, brix would be shat once we see it.
