the performance is obviously not very good and the sound is lacking some precision...

tell me why my drums pop up so much and don't seem controlled! is it because I didn't use samples? (ok actually the bd is a sample from the session, because I forgot to put some cover on the mike and it took too much cymbals)
why is the overal ambiance so different from other recordings? it just doesn't seem to be very..I don't know what adjective would fit..actually it's more like it doesn't sit right.... what do you think is the origin of this? the levels may be a matter here, I don't know..or a matter of spectrum usage...though when listening to it and not comparing with other material it seems ok...room obviously makes a difference, but I don't think it's the main problem......
