Rod wrote in one of his diaries that they are being really strict with comp tickets and passes in the LA area because he thinks that going to the Maiden gig seemed to be the hot thing to do at the moment. He said he wanted to make sure he only accomodates "real" fans.

Haha...we could open a whole thread of brilliant ideas about how could one get a backstage pass to a Maiden show.I think in this band's case even hot chicks could have a hard time to get one!

Ticketmaster now has an Ohio show listed for 6/12... even though Maiden haven't announced it yet.

Looks like there are about 3 weeks between the Seattle date and the Italy date... plenty of room for some mayhem at the East Coast and the midwest.

I really hope the band does play some places other than the NY and New England areas. There's plenty of other good metal places like Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Quebec, etc.

True, but think of the size difference of us compared to the US. At least we get full scale tours covering the whole country still.

Yes I guess it is true, but I just felt that they could have done the major stadiums, 3 dates, Twickenham, Murrayfield and Millenium stadium.

Lots of lucky pit goers for the SA show. I snagged 6 tickets (4 and 2) for the Irvine, right in the center loge for both nights.

Since they are covering so much ground, it seems reasonable imo. We get to see them all the time so we need to share them with the rest of the world.
They'd probably do Hampden instead of Murrayfield if they were to do a Scottish date. Man, I would love to see them there. Such a great atmosphere for concerts! Similar threads
