Sonar X1 - the next generation of Sonar

The Sonar users like myself out there have been waiting patiently for Cakewalk to announce the next version of their DAW software - unlike years past, the fall came and almost went without an announcement. Well we wait no longer - Sonar X1 is here.

Dropping the current Sonar 8.5.x nomenclature they are going with a new X1 designation. I'm still looking over all the new features, but figured I'd post the announcement here and links to the details for those interested.

I know not a whole lot of Sonar users around here, but I've already bought into these magic beans so I'm sure I'll upgrade.

I will upgrade too ASAP!! Beeing Sonar user since Sonar 6 is the only DAW I´ve used to produce.
I´m very interested in beeing able to test AudioSnap 2.0 as drumquantizing it´s a bit tedious in AudioSnap 1.0....

Nice demo video Brandon from Cakewalk did with Steve Fortner from Keyboard magazine showing of some of the features of X1 including a very good overview of the new interface and all it's capabilities and he also doe a run through of the new ProChannel feature.

Well worth watching.
