I really like it, it sill has some of their newer sound, but is a major return of that older Sonata style.

I love how threads about bands touring illicit pages of bickering about the minutia of routing, popularity, ticket price and packaging; yet posting new music by that band illicit almost no response.

The second single from the new Sonata. While not quite power metal shred of the past, it is a very upbeat happy song and does not meander as much as their recent efforts. I found that on a second listen a ton of it had stuck with me already.

The new Sonata Arctica continue the trend of disappointment that the last couple albums started. I don't know why I got hopeful. It's just more of the same uninspired blah stuff. Sure there are a couple enjoyable songs, but overall, I don't think I'll ever listen to it again. Once was enough.
