So I'm using Sony Acid 6 to mix this song that's got about 30 tracks.
I got a EQ on just about everyone and even a compression and what not. There's plenty of 'verb on the drums, a little on the guitars and the vocals. Either way this session is pulling a lot of resources I guess but every time I render the track as a mp3, wav, individual bounced tracks, whatever, it always just exports as a silent blank audio file. The individual tracks themselves will go silent sometimes in mid session and I'll have to reload the effects chain on them to make them play the track again. Any ideas? 'cuz I'm not sure how I can export this mix without it doing this and I'm not sure if It's a audio card latency I'm having or what.

Are you doing anything else on the computer while the .wav file is rendering?

For me, if I bring up another program or open a file while exporting, the resulting .wav is blank. I have no idea why so I make sure I walk away and do something else until it's finished.

This is in Cubase 4, so I'm not sure if that will help you in Acid.
