Anybody hear about these yet? Sounds pretty awesome... will allow you to use PCIe interfaces (like the RME AIO) on laptops featuring Thunderbolt ports, such as newer Macs and soon Ultrabooks.

Sonnet’s Echo Express and Echo Express Pro Thunderbolt
Expansion Chassis for PCIe Cards enable you to connect one or
two high-performance PCI Express® 2.0 adapter cards, respectively, to any computer with a Thunderbolt port. Imagine using full-size professional video capture, audio interface, 8Gb Fibre Channel, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and RAID controller cards with your new iMac®, Mac® mini, MacBook® Air or MacBook Pro; these rugged, portable Sonnet solutions make it possible!

The standard Echo Express supports one half-length, full-height, double-width, x16 (x4 mode) PCIe 2.0 card, whereas the Echo Express Pro supports two standard-width, full-length cards, or one double-width, full-length card. The standard model includes a built-in 100W power supply; the Pro model integrates a 150W power supply with a supplemental 75W PCIe power connector. Variable speed fans (two in the standard model, three in the Pro) will quietly keep cards cool, only speeding up as needed to cool the hottest cards. Two Thunderbolt ports support daisy chaining of up to six devices to a single port on your computer.
