Hey guys,
I have a little room I'd like to soundproof, to blast an amp and stuff (appartments are a bitch :p ). I'm talking soundproofing here, meaning lessen the sound which goes out of the room, not room treatment.

So I was looking around and found that :

What do you think about it ? Would that improve the soundproofing if I put those in the room ?

Doubt it...that foam looks like it's for room treatment purposes and wouldn't stop much sound actually getting out the room.

Actual soundproofing usually works best with the "room within a room" concept. It's usually best achieved by a combination of layers of hard and soft materials. Lots of good info here: http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/index.php
