yeah agreed, it sounds weird with only one guitar. Even with bands like Destruction who can get away with it I think it would sound a lot better with 2, Nevermore just especially need it badly.

I think with Nevermore there are so many techy riffs that it just doesn't work with one guitarist cause they just get lost in the bass, but there are definitely one guitarist bands that pull it off live. Immortal to me sounded massive live, Symphony X is another.
