Dude you want CD-Rs of that Final Fantasy VI soundtrack? It's some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard, seriously. To this day the opening credits theme music brings tears to my eyes, as proven once again just about a week ago. So god damn majestic.

The first thing that comes to mind is the soundtrack to Last of the Mohicans, then Im thinking the soundtrack to Eisensteins Alexandr Nevsky that was written by Prokofiev, and is stunning, especially the ice battle scene.

I love Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ. And on a new note, I loved the quirky 70-80s electronica of the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack is excellent BUTTTT in general I think movie soundtracks feel half without the movie. I hope I don't have to explain since that says it all.
