I was thinking of buying one of their CDs today but didn't know which one to get. As far as I know the Spawnster is one of the few that dislikes their work.

I actually downloaded a couple of their tracks a few weeks ago, and ment to start a thread about them. The music is awesome, but I do see what ya mean about the vocals Spawny...VERY deathy, but not as bad as you've made them out to be.

Nile are good. Very brutal. The vocals fit the music. I like the vocals.

Pop vocals fit the music, I guess that makes all pop vocalists great then simply because they fit the music? (Not a go at you Moony err Moonchild, just making a point yasee )

No. Because I enjoy Niles music. I don't enjoy pop.

I still don't get how you can like Sepultura and Slipknot and not like DM vocals. I know Sep and SK don't have DM vocals, but their vocals are just as 'talentless' as a death growl, and certainly do have similar attributes, being non-melodic and using the false cords of the throat to make the ventricular voice.

But you can like whatever you want.
