Hey,
A while ago, I had mentioned a local band from the 80s I used to like called Squadron. Finding their demos is near impossible.

I did manage to find a YOUTUBE clip from them performing at the Gateway Theater! Anyone remember that joint????

Yeah, it's funny when you see local bands videos from the 80's, like this, and Trouble for example.

These bands put on full shows, with lighting and smoke machines, etc.. Sure, it may seem cheesy now, but still, more of an actual "show"

LOL that would be Brent on bass from my band, Mindwarp Chamber.

I saw Squadron at the Gateway back in the day, could have been the same show.

I live close to the Gateway, it was a nice place but I think after that King Diamond show there with Toxic they didnt want to have anymore metal there.

Yeah really he was also in Winterkill, Slaughter Xtroyes, and our Singer Scott was in Stonehenge, Sirus, Lords of Meat, 12th Gate. We're all old farts like you and Bob LOL, just kidding I think we're older.

I am 32. I think Bob is 35 or so.

I didn't know Scott was in Stonehenge.
I saw them open for Manowar many moons ago.
Not sure if he was in the band at the time.

Yep A little trivia too Scott wasnt singing back then he was a drummer after him I think Scott Davidson was the drummer.

I will see Brent tomorrow at practice, I'll see if he can hook me up with any of the Squadron stuff.

Actually, Manowar did a cool thing that night.
They played their set in chronological order, from their first album to their newest, which was Louder Than Hell at the time.
