SSSSYYYYDDDDNEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

You're probably right Brian but im just glad they got this far in the finals again.

I reckon only playing 2 games in 4 weeks is gonna hurt the dragons, unfortunately :( I think they'll come out playing rusty like they did against the sharks, and if they do the Tigers aren't going to let them off the hook like the sharks did.... Saying that, if they play like they did against the broncos a few weeks back, they can take care of the tigers and then whoever they play in the GF.

I'm cautiously optimistic that the Tigers and Dragons will play each other next weekend, as will Parra and the Cowboys.

Other than that I can't predict anything with any real confidence.

Sydney is one of the most skilless, pull-shit-out-of-your-arse bullshit sides in this year's top 8.

Well let's look at their results this year then, hey?

Here's the teams they beat during the season:
Hawthorn by 63 points
Brisbane by 6
Essendon by 6
Port by 24
Bulldogs by 9
Carlton by 25
Fremantle by 32
Collingwood by 1
Geelong by 54
Melbourne by 26
West Coast by 21
Essendon by 20
Brisbane by 84
Kangaroos by 35
Hawthorn by 44

All but four of their wins during the rounds were by 20 points or more. That's really pulling a win out of your arse, hey?

:)

Alot of times they were down going into the last quarter. Definately not one of the best two sides in the competition. It's OK, the Eagles should put them in their place.

Did you know that a big photo of Barry Hall and his mum took up the ENTIRE front page of the other days paper with the title "Let my Barry play", or something to that effect.

Do you know how PATHETIC that is to see something like that, that is the biggest news going around? Barry Hall has been offered a week (down from two apparently), there's no chance he should be let to play, so he'd better bloody well take it. No sooking or whinging about missing a grand final, he's copped what he deserves for his ridiculous aggression, whether it's GF or h/a game. Being a prelim should only have made him calm himself a little for once and play football.

Being one of the best two teams means having the ability to FINISH a game well.. it doesn't matter whether the swans were trailing into the last quarter, they still won. And in most cases as gore pointed out, won by large margins!

The thing is though, they usually bore the opposition to death, then kick a few goals at the end when a few of their opponents have dropped off.

Hall whacked Maguire at least fifty metres behind the play. I was looking downfield and then looked and saw MM doubled over. He was with the trainer for at least a minute, in which time Hall marked unopposed and put one through. Not nice Barry, I hope your appeal fails. Cunt.

If his appeal does fail I'll be going for the Swans on default. If it succeeds I'll do as I did in 1996, and barrack against the traitorous ex-Saint.

I don't get why the swans are still accused of playing "boring" or "ugly". Nearly every team in the AFL uses the flood defense style now. Sydney just do it better then most because of the smaller confines of the SCG

I can't believe I'm having this discussion about AFL. The Swans won six games by a margin of more than 30 points. Two of them were against the Roos and the Cats, who also made the top 8. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure they didn't win those games in the last quarter.

They're a good side, don't get me wrong. They just don't exactly have a style that's very pleasing on the eye. It's a bit like the difference between Geoffrey Boycott and Adam Gilchrist.
