Star Wars: Episdode III

Regarding Dr Who-

I noticed Mr Tennant made his debut appearance as the Doc on TV last night.

It's a sad thing to lose Chris Eccleston - in time, I reckon he will be regarded as one of the best alongside Tom Baker - but I think that if the BBC keep the same writing team, Dr Who isn't going to fall into shambles ever again.

I wish David Tennant lots of luck, but I implore the writers to keep it scary, dark, funny and clever!
Oh, and also, I want to see Biff playing a bad guy! You know... some kind of Metal Lord!
Well, I have to keep it Saxon related!!.....

I consider myself to be one of those lucky types, you know the ones....."Never watched Doctor Who" ....Those ones!!!

Those fookin' Darlek thinks and thier sink plungers are no match for Darth Valanx and his pretend lightsaber!!!!

I know some great moves....But that belongs in another thread ;-)

Mr Valanx - I have a suspicion that alcohol was involved in the creation of that last statement!

But, I have to admit, I would love to see you take on a Dalek with your lightsabre - especially if you were really pissed!
Whilst your at it, do you think you could decapitate Billy Piper for me?!!

Saturday's episode there was brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed it. I've not made up my mind about the new guy David Tennant, he looks a bit of a gay boy to me, not sure if he is or not, but like Christopher Eccleston it will probably take a few episodes before we all get used to him. I wasn't too keen on Eccleston at first, a wee bit too smiley for my liking, but then he turned out to be quite a good doctor in the end. Roll on December when it returns to our screens. Tom Baker was my fav Dr.

Your Royal Highness - LOL! Regarding Mr Tennant's appearance - I had the same impression, but dare not say it. But you can because you are a Gal!!
I've been an admirer of Eccleston before he became the Doc, so I didn't have a problem - in fact I began watching Dr Who again because of him!

But I know exactly what you mean - sometimes it takes awhile to get used to a new actor playing an established character. David Tennant would have never been my first choice, but I hope he does well and proves me wrong. AT the moment, though, he does just seem to be a pretty boy but I'm willing to prove himsellf in the next series! Who knows, we might decide he is the best Doctor of all in a few years time!!

Darned Pretty Boy!!

Your perception serves you well Master Nightwar, i was indeed greatly intoxicated by 'The Force' that night!

As for Billie Piper, it would be a pleasure! As soon as im done with the darleks ok, it may take some time as i am in need of a new apprentice!

**FYI: 'The Force' refered to in this post is also known as Carlsberg.
