They always say this you know. Every rock band always comes up with quotes that the next album is gonna be the heaviest. Even Staind did this! I don´t believe them any more. As far as Deftones go, they´re ok but nothing I would write home about. What the guy said was cool.

I wouldn´t say so. I agree that God Hates Us All is probably their heaviest shit, but for example I don´t think Divine Intervention is any heavier than Seasons In The Abyss or Reign In Blood

No Shit? I went to the second show in Boston, right after Birch Hill. What a great show it was. I didnt even know who else was playing besides Anthrax. When i walked in and i saw LOA merchandise i almost shit myself, as they were one of my favorite bands, still are. I was so fucking suprised to see that they were playing, what a treat.
The Deftones werent really known then, i had heard the name from my friend who saw them a few months earlier , he said they were kickass. I was impressed by them. They were tight as hell, a good opener. LOA smoked. Keith rules!!! Joey Z had the most smokin' guitar tone. 'Thrax kicked fucking ass that night. They opened with Random Acts, right into Fueled, and King Size right after. Great show. Wish i had a boot of it. Sorry for Rambling.
