Maybe Wilson is Yoko to Akerfeldt's Lennon. I for one love the new album, however I know many have their concerns.

The BIG difference is, EVERYONE can agree that Yoko Ono has absolutely NO musical talent to speak of.

Did you read my post? I said I loved the album. I was simply responding to people who have suggested there is too great a Wilson influence on the album.

I fucking love the Wilson influence. I had never heard Porcupine Tree until I heard about Steve with Opeth, and I loved the new elements (production was much better and MUCH more creative). Creativity in production is something Steve is a master at, and I absolutely LOVE that.
