Steven Slate Drums EX Expansions 50%.. OFFICIALLY

I went for the Metal & More, and the Rock Classics. Metal and More is sound pretty fucking good - I really like the ToneDef snare. Maybe a silly question... but which snare was used for this recorded in real life???

Hey Steven check this out. Pretty old song that I re-recorded a while ago. I just tried it with the stock "Thick Metal Kit". I only lowered the volume on snare and splash and raised the kick for a little bit. What do you think?

Are you wanting just cool MIDI's really, or how we mix your drums? Do you want no EQ/compression or anything on the clip, just the raw Slate drums? And do you want guitars and everything, or just the drums?

For the Metal and More mp3 contest, full mix with instrumentation.. you can do whatever you want to the drums.. eq, compress, mix.. its up to you.

Drew the Tonedef snare is a Tama Bell Brass which is what is used by Abe Cunningham.. Be sure to try mixing it in with some other snares too because it can also be a really nice additive.

Dude, that sounds freaking killer! I really love that kit, haven't used it in while but now I will. What did you use for the guitars? Your fills are very Abe Cunningham like too, is that on purpose?

Thanks man :kickass:

Guitars and bass are Amplitube 3; mixed in Logic. I'm not sure my hi-hat is loud enough, I'll probably fix that later.

I really REALLY love the tonedef snare; it's probably my favourite snare so far. It wasn't my intention to sound like Abe (I honestly didn't even know that was the guys name until you mentioned it, I know... for shame!) ... it's just the way I play. Gonna work on this track some more this weekend I reckon - probably take it to my band as an idea to play.

So do I win a copy of trigger?

fin another great one. man, this will be a very hard decision. These are literally three of the best metal demos I've heard yet from this pack. You guys are truely talented. Fin love the synthy effects!!!

What's the deadline on this?

Btw I have to praise the SSD support. I got problems with my passcodes and even before writing a message I got an e-mail from the guys :kickass:

Hey Steven, sorry to bother you again, but is there any word from audiomidi on my order (I sent you a pm some time ago and you asked for my name and order number)?
