there are no chances because i will not ive it back lol

honestly there would be insurance on the instruments. we all hate insurance companies, and would love to see them dish out cash

plus the theives got new gear, so that is a bonus!!!

I don't really find this even remotely funny or amusing. You've obviously never had something of value stolen from you.

ive got it, and im never giving it back! muahahahahahaha

Yeah dude, the humor really isn't working there, and it's not a matter of us needing to "loosen up" (the classic response)

Sucks. No better word for the situation.

I hope they had insurance. Certainly, losing a classic piece of gear will hurt, but at least insurance will take some of the sting away.

hey mr. cool ice,
just a few weeks ago a local band I'm good friends with got their studio/rehearsal place robbed and everything stolen, including all their guitars, all studio equipment, and even all the backup harddiscs with the almost finished recordings from their debut album which is now lost.

so, as I can now quite well relate to the gut-wrenching and helpless feeling of being robbed and having taken away months of hard work from oneself, here is to you, from the deepest bottom of my heart, a big
FUCK YOU!!!

i just realized that there were PERSONAL items that wre stolen and thats not cool. i was under the impression that it was all rented gear. i have had things stolen from me and it is not desirable.

but... its not like these guys are joe blow basement band. they have insurance and rent lots of equipment. its not as big a deal as if it was one of us or our friends who rack up our credit cards, or spend our whole paycheck gassing.

however, if they stole say a bass that he had played for years and had memories with ect. that is very wrong and i have the deepest sympathy for the chap.

sorry if i was unclear, and frankly i didnt read the whole post.
