Look at Alexi's Jack plug in his guitar, wtf was he doing? :err:

it's hard to tell with all those damn chains hanging there, but either the cable is there or he's using some kind of wireless plug that's quite tiny


or, they were doing playback :-P
 
Oh, geez.. I watched a live video once, where I heard alexi singing but yet his mouth wasn't even up to the mic at that one part, nor was his mouth even moving. I watched it over and over again. I came to the conclusion that the video and audio where just out of sync on that part on the video.

I tried brightening up the picture in photoshop but it didn't help. It's hard to tell with the chains right their. But I do see a small shiny reflection next to the input. Since the cord is black maybe it's just not showing up? I can't tell if that shiny part is a chain or the end of the cable.

I refuse to believe what this is looking like though. In live shows it's obvious that what is being played isn't a studio recording. Still is wierd though.
 
Well I personally don't see any reasons why Alexi would want to do a playback show. I think it's obvious that he enjoys playing guitar and being quite skilled in his metier. In general, if you listen to COB bootlegs, it's clear that the shows are not playback... Or otherwise they are very well organized and planned and made again and again for every single show.

Also, if they planned to do a playback show, why risk anything and left the cord unplugged? That is to say that it could have been plugged even if the show was playback...

Don't know if some built-in guitar wireless transmitters exist.. Or a transimmter that could be placed underneath the pickguard. That would be a relieving alternative at least.

Anyway, I am 99.9% sure that there's a sensible explanation for all this and COB fans have not been cheated. With Alexi's skills bogus playing would anyway be quite odd, since playing the setlists shouldn't be too great a challenge if not for medical reasons (pretty fucking sore fingertips perhaps?).
 
maybe alexi and roope where playing the same riff and alexi just didnt notice that his guitar went out
 
Haha! come on... "not noticing when his guitar goes out" this is pure hysteria! When you're guitar isn't plugged, you hear it in the stage monitors, and usually it fucks up with the amplifiers when the jack goes lolly jolly flying out that way. I think it's scam, pure and simple. Sad, really. :erk:
