I'm an aspiring journalist, and I'm putting together a radio newscast at school. What do you think would be a good soundclip from a song to use to kick off a newscast? I considered Nile but my teammates didn't share my enthusiasm. Seriously though, suggestions?

place to be - nick drake
maritime, the beginning and the end - isis

itd be cooler if you chose a heap and alternated. you could choose which stuff according to the stuff you were broadcasting. for example, if you were discussing a school killing you could use something like vast - flames whereas if you were discussing economics and the dollar and shit you could use that money money money song by abba or something.

that's a preemtive strike as in "we destroyed your nuclear facilities with our nuke and you can't retaliate sorta kinda"

Camel - Song within a Song

how about... no bludgeoning music? a radio newscast discussing current events, politics, economics does not usually open with clip by Nile. is this news to you or smth

The pre-emptive strike was in asking a board of primarily metal fans for musical suggestions. Nobody would ever use metal in a newscast ffs, I wouldn't want to if they let me.
