Stream audio on the intraweb!

Is there anyway to stream sound between two internet connected computers Mac/PC?

For say I want to use remote desktop but still want to hear everything on the other computer(yes the reason is that I want to be able to do some minor mixing on my computer at home from work).

Today I'm using Logme in to access my computer at home but is there anyway to remotely transfer sounds?

Is Reaper on Mac?

I did a live stream of audio from Ryan's Reaper session to mine (he's in the US, I'm Aus, so would work even better nearby), works really really easily. I could ONLY hear audio though, couldn't actually edit or mix anything.

Remote sound actually works on PC with Logme in but not for Mac.

I think that's what Ninjam does, am I right? it comes integrated in Reaper, but as far as I know it can also work separately with other DAWs, you should look into it

Yeah, it was Ninjam. I don't use Reaper, but I did for this session (so I can hear Ryan reamping in real-time). I don't have any experience using it other DAWs.

I thought I could combine mixing in Logic while doing monthly economic reports to my superiors.

Nimjam is the only way I know to do this. There are other VO-IP protocols but they compress and fuck with audio in a way that would make mixing impossible.
