Hi there people!!
This one is for Steve and the other bassplayers here!!
I have a Tagima Jazz Bass, which is much like a Fender Jazz... I am playing Death with my band right now, and the string that came with the bass are pretty low-gauge, so when I tune it do D, there is a lot of fret noise, and the string is very very soft, so I must play pretty close to the bridge, and that makes me tire my fingers much faster, and the sound is still not OK...
Which string gauge do you recommend for this situation?? And...
Will I have to just switch the string and then be happy or will I have to adjust some other thing, likethe bridge or something??
Thanks in advance!
