Hell yeah I might hit you up then when the next version comes out
When I used reaper, everything seemed clunky and hard to work with. It had some rough edges I wasn't comfortable just dealing with. Pro Tools (9) was a bitch partly because my instructor insisted on teaching us the long way to do everything so we "got it" then would go and teach us short cuts. Then I started reading about how much they charge for upgrades and all the technical stuff that comes along with it. TBH it was too much for me to take in. It crashed often as well. So many restrictions and limitations I couldn't believe it. I want to be a customer, not a prisoner.
Studio One was a breathe of fresh air for me. It's inexpensive, great looking, very organized, reliable, and I can customize whatever I want however I want it.
One thing I'm still looking for though is a pitch shifter. Can't find any good ones that are free/cheap.
that it's awesome!
it looks and sounds amazing, it's extremely friendly and easy to use.
i was waiting for S1 v 2.0 for a while and it's as good as i had imagined.
why i still use PT?
because S1 won't fucking acknowledge about 50% of my plug-ins for some reason, which makes it useless for anything but tracking.
Are you on the 64bit version of S1? If you are, it's not reading your 32bit plugins. I had the same problem at first. I uninstalled the 64bit and installed the 32bit and all my plugins were there.
