Stupid Reaper Question

How do I create a bus where all channels go into that, and DON'T simultaneously go to the master for example a drum bus where you want all the drum tracks to be affected by the comp and EQ, etc? I can't seem to figure this out!

Create a track called "Drums" and put it above all your drum tracks. Then click the folder icon on the track called "Drums" until the tracks below it move to the right. Go to the last drum track and click it until the folder icon turns red so REAPER knows thats the last track in the folder. Then just put your FX on the track called "Drums".

Nevermind, I'm a noob, I figured it out, just apply the fx to a folder and put all the tracks in that folder.

NP man, when I first switched to REAPER I remember I was confused by the same issue hehe.

Hovering cursor over the matrix and waiting for the popup hints and (reading them) was always very helpful to me

Yeah that works too if you like working with folders.

Yeah, I never use the folders, just the routing matrix! (alt-r)
