i have a question, is there any usage i can get out of an altec lansing subwoofer designed for a pc 5.1 speaker set. i have a pc at home with like a 5.1 set up. it's a rather old computer but it's a pretty big sub. once it's in my budget i would like to buy like a real studio sub but i hardly ever use that computer so i figure if it can do more good than harm then maybe it's worth figuring out a way to incorporate it into my mixing. i just ordered dynaudio bm6as mk II so i am thinking if there is a way this can help me. remember the point is if it can do more GOOD than harm. if it is going to just totally screw things up i may as well stick with what i got until i am at a point where i need/can afford a seperate sub.
