Subterranean ep?

Their best release, imo.
I love every song.
Stand Ablaze is definitely the standout. The intro is really cool and then the opening melody is really epic.
Everdying is awesome. Great melodies and it features their heaviest riff ever.
Biosphere is really cool. Intro is like The Pilgrim by Iron Maiden backwards. Great song, cool lyrics.
Subterranean is also really cool, very sorrowful, a great song. One of their grimmest. Very gothic lyrics.
The version of Dead Eternity on there is great, probably equal to the TJR version.
The Inborn Lifeless is probably a little better than Dead God In Me.
The 2 covers are pretty much worthless, tbh, but cool to have.
Henke is their worst vocalist, but did a solid job. Either Friden or Stanne would have made this a better release, but Henke did a perfectly good job.

Stand Ablaze, Everydying and Biosphere are some of In Flames' finest songs. The intro riff to Stand Ablaze never ceases to amaze me, even after 5 years of listening to the EP.

Stand Ablaze is epic, Biosphere has a nice opening... nothing else too special about Subterranean. It's a good EP for the time, and shows the potential of the band.

The guitar work is really simular to The Jester Race. Like this album is more simular to TJR, than Whoracle is. The guitar settings are about exactly the same.
