Just a thought, but I feel Tarot would be a great addition to PPVIII. They have a new cd out and it kicks ass. With Nightwish still working on getting a new singer...why not give Marco something more to do.

If we are going to bring back a Finnish band I say Machine Men, Essence Of Sorrow (this newcomers debut SMOKES), Wingdom, Leverage, or Twilightning.

...and Marco and Tuomas Holopainen have said many times in interviews that the next Nightwish world tour will start in small venues in North America where they are not so well known, in order to give the new vocalist some time to adapt the band before stepping in front of the "inquisition" in big European arenas.

Crap! I didn't know that. And I just posted for Tarot to play again in the "piss on your parade..." thread! D'OH! Well if it was only because Marco will be busy with Nightwish, then I guess I won't be too disappointed!
Its because Nightwish's schedule is up in the air. And if Nightwish makes plans around the PP date, then Tarot would have to pull out, putting Glenn in a shitty position. But if NW has made some more solid plans, then perhaps its possible. But based on Glenn's timeframe for booking bands this year, I doubt its the case.

Yeah, unless a band cancels, it's not like Marco can say to Glenn in March "Oh yeah we can play PPVIII now. Sorry we could get back to you sooner."

finnish bands.... AMORPHIS.
I like Amorphis and some other Finnish bands, but when it comes to the Finn-est band is only one contender: TAROT!
