Suggestions for video editing w/I-phone

I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask. I need your help on making a music video to put on you-tube

Basically i am using my IPHONE to record the video but I would like to use mp3 sound files(basically wave files) with the video.

How do I use only the video taken from my Iphone with music from another source?

Save the video to your computer and use an editing program there. Lightworks is a free professional video editing suite. I don't really like the way it works, but it does work and supports many formats.
