Leagues ahead any other "suicidal black metal" band IMO. It's no wonder that Malefic himself (Xasthur) said that "Death, Pierce Me" surpass his own stuff. It's obviously not everyone's cup of tea though.

yeah, definitely more doom than black, but it is NOT strict/purist doom at all. very, very atmospheric, a little psychedelic, and just unruly!
