SUMMER RULES, the thread

Norrlandskusten rox, we have ace summers AND ace winters, all other places have either-or. I wouldn't say 80 degrees F is that extreme either really.

I was in Sweden once, playing in a Kloter competition in Hammarstrand, so not so far North as you folks, but it was hot as all hell. About 100F. This was in the direct sunlight, but still, I imagine that's a bit of a rarity for those parts. I spent quite a bit of time in Östersund, and I remember a couple of days hovered around 80 - 90.

But for the most part, Swedish Summer was incredibly comfortable, and enjoyable. It's a different type of heat up there also. Cleaner air, so not so humid and muggy as it gets here in Melbourne.

100 F would be an amazing rarity

80-83 is about a "very hot summer day" usually

(the fahrenheit system sucks)

i like summer, but its fucking horrible when i have to crawl around in the dirt for 10+ hours a day in 100 degree weather. its the most uncomfortable thing ever. also, when i'm in the greenhouses, i would estimate that the temperature is literally over 110F.
