I was tearing of my hair until I discovered the level fader for each cymbal. Saved my day!
If this is only with high and low pass I can't wait to hear the mixed version!

sure I can! Gonna do it tomorrow though, time for sleep soon and I wanna even out the cymbals before I post it 
On another note, it's -amazing- what a good rhythm player can do to the sound. I've never heard my guitar setup sound this nice as when my friend recorded this.

I'm sorry, but I don't like the sound that much. SD2 sounds too much like the EzDrummer Samples in my ears. Especially when it comes to the cymbals.
I still prefer Steven Slate Drums. You can get out good sounds instantly of them, although I'm still looking for the perfect snare.

yeah, the cymbal is a bit of a hassle, uneven volume and they sound too seperated. but I still think s 2.0 is the best drum plugin so far, and that's only playing with it for a little while.
besides the cymbals, what do you think of the rest of the drums? too klangy snare, not enough lowend on the kick?

Noumenon by the way what is your chain for guitar and bass? I love the whole song and mix...can't believe this isnt mixed yet.....this is better than anything I've spent ages on trying to mix lol 
can't really say it isn't mixed. it's a rough mix, mostly levels though and some EQ.
guitar: that arch enemy caparison guitar with stock pickups -> samson s-direct plus splitted into my ENGL Savage and direct to the board. the engl then uses GHs impulse (don't remember the name atm). two tracks at 80%. then high pass at 50hz, some boost aroung 80hz (realized afterwards that the guitars missed some low end). then the andy multicomp settings (logic plugin though). that's it for the guitars.
bass: recorded the same way, but the DI-track is duplicated and sent to ampeg svx plugin. that sound and the sound from my engl is high passed from aprox 200hz. the DI-track is low passed from 200hz. then levels to taste... the bus has some eq-comp-eq and then I killed the track with a limiter so it doesn't have any dynamics lol.

Im really liking the snare, but Im a fan of some ring so
The kick is awesome but its lacking something.
Guitars sound really tight, good job to whoever laid this track down.

ring is fine, but this one is a little too high for me, but the instruments disquise it quite well.

I'm remember right Noumenon you've been struggling a lot to get a good tone out for your Savage with Impulses in the past. I'm glad to hear you finally got a nice guitar sound.

Gotta question for anyone about superior 2, when you bounce the track, does it save each drum with the fx's you put on it?
I have no idea. I don't do the bouncing, I just leave it like a regular plugin

Redid the track a bit, fixed the cymbals and added some reverb to the snare & toms.

Thank you! It's been a blast since I managed to get a good sound out of it To be honest though, mostly when I play my ENGL I use guitar rig for speaker emu.

ahh there we go I got it now.
I liked the snare before but its better now Snare fits nicely in this mix.
I like the cymbals in this new one as well.
