Supreme Court rejects death penalty for raping children

Yep, but that's quite refutable. Medical science kept the last Pope alive when he was nothing but an Alzheimer's addled shell of a man, you can't accept it to prolong life (interfering with Gods will?) yet refuse to awknowledge it when it would suits you.

Genetically removing default would be a good thing, surely?
They're already seeing if they can build immunity to free radicals, which would either END natural aging past prime, or prolong it exponentially. Diseases and unnatural causes would still apply.
But, even the optimistic scientists say it'll be a century or more before that happens. I wonder what the Christians will do? Kill everyone that passes 120?

Some sections of the scientific community are convinced that a human will be born in the next 50 years that will live for 500. The kind of changes to society that could bring about are so large it'd be unthinkable.

Provided I kept my faculties, and aging was slowed to relative timing of course, I'd not mind 300. Anything past that might get tedious though.
