I study LAtin and it's boring as hell aka I'm too stupid to learn it.

Spanish got some funny swear words but you need to know some native speaker to get the real good ones
English is the same but when you listen to some 'bad' bands you get them pretty fast!

How useful are German swear words in the States? I was there once and
someone behind us suddenly started saying 'Dummkopf' all the time

it depends... if people know youre studying german or are partly german, all they want to say is stupid shit like "Arschloch" or "Dummkopf" over and over...

but if you suddenly say "Halt die Klappe" they have no idea... so basically theyre only useful in germany or parts of the country where large portions of people still speak german, like Texas or Wisconsin or NYC.



(of course i can't speak for the whole country, but that's what it has been in my experience; spanish is much more useful here, obviously)

Soon, we got a lot of immigrants round here so the most useful languages would be Turkish and Russian

i was learning spanish but then i got bored of it after 6 years and switched to deutsch. Deutsch ist, in mein Meinung, besser dann Spanisch.

That depends really...turkish demands much less memorization, but has a really awkward structure. It's kind of easy as soon as you grasp it though.
