I know he uses ESP guitars, but what amps/pickups do they use typically? Or for recording, for that matter.

hey man i saw them last night and from what i could see Devin was using Esp explorer w/EMGs a Morley wah of some kind (Mostly for DTB) a boss TU2 chromatic tuner, Planet Waves cables in to a 5150 head then thru a rack that i couldn't quite see what was in but it looked like a single space power amp, don't know what make, a compressor - maybe Behringer? don't know and a couple of others that i couldn't distinguish there may have been a G-Major in there for delay? The cabs were a marshall full 1960 stack - Vintage i think. The sound was rich and awesome. As for in the studio i have no idea but i'd guess that he uses a similar setup. Jed used a white ESP V with only a Bridge pickup and one with a cool custom paint job with two pickups, both had EMGs in them, couldn't see any pedals but he was going into a Mesa Rectifier (Dual i think, Maybe triple, not single) with mesa cabs and he used a (shure?) wireless system.
