I know he uses ESP, and he uses Line 6 in the studio. What kind of pickups does he have in the bridge and neck, and what kind of head and cabs does he use live? I love the tone in the Accolade II solo.

DWoT - EMG 81's both neck and bridge

TiO to now - Dimarzio X2N in the bridge, Tone Zone in the neck

DWoT, Tio, V - Mesa Triaxis in the studio, POD Pro live

Odyssey - Engl Powerball (I think its the powerball, I know its definately an Engl tho), Mesa Dual rectifier, and POD (for clean sounds only, I think) in the studio and a Line 6 Vetta live (with an Engl model for rhythm sounds and a Bogner model for leads).

K cause you see im getting pick ups for my strat. You think I should get the Dimarzio tone zone, or the HS-3?

For what position?, you know that if you already have a single coil in the bridge and you get a Tone Zone to put in the bridge, you'll need a new pickguard (and vice versa). I have a YJM in the bridge position of my strat (and neck too) and it actually gets a suprisingly good crunchy rhythm tone. I do need to use a Tube Screamer in front of my POD to get a good lead sound tho.
