I just got back from the show in Cleveland, and I must say, they were awesome tonight. The setlist was:
Evolution
Sea of Lies
Wicked
King of Terrors
Smoke and Mirrors
Egypt
Death of Balance
Of Sins and Shadows

I met Russell Allen, who was cool as hell, and Mike Pinella. Mike Pinella seemed not very people friendly, since he sort of ignored me, but hopefully he was just having a bad day or something and isn't like that all the time. I forgot to bring my goddamn camera tonight!!!!! that's ok though since I got pics with lepond and romeo at the Detroit show yesterday! :)

Unfortunately, Of Sins and Shadows was the worst song on both nights. I'm not sure why it sounded so bad. Hopefully it just sounded bad because all the other songs sounded just so awesome!!

When did you get to meet them? Did they come out shortly after their set, or was it after the entire concert was over? I don't plan on sticking around for BG's performance, so i was hoping the symphony guys would be out soon after they played.

Lucky, lucky you! I had plans to make a road trip from Cincinnati with some of my friends, but our ride fell through at the last minute. It is beyond my comprehension how good they would sound live. BastrdDrmr, have you ever seen Dream Theater live? Could you compare their performing abilities? I'm just curious.

yeah, I saw Dream Theater live with Satriani a few months ago. Dream Theater definitely spends TONS of time rehearsing because they do a lot of odd medleys and everything. The musicians are great live in DT. James Labrie is really awful live in my opinion. He wasn't able to hit a ton of notes that are on the studio albums. Russell Allen, on the other hand, is FLAWLESS live.... most amazing singer I've ever seen live, AWESOME presence too, and is pretty funny... when compared to Dio live, he makes Dio look totally incompetent, and I love Dio.
