T-Racks 670 Comp - any good?

Just saw that audiomidi is selling single licences from t-racks suites for 10usd each. if I'm not mistaken...

I am after a good 1176 plugin, so is the 670 from t-racks any good?

It´s no 1176 emulation... It´s a fairchild emulation. It´s pretty good from what I remember, but not for what you want to use it.
Softubes FET is a really good 1176 emulation, but it has a different price tag ;-)

They're selling the "Classic Compressor" module, not the 670.

EDIT: they seem to have lazily lifted the description text from the regular product page without paring it down to refer to the one compressor that they are actually selling.

Yup - that's the Classic Compressor they are selling. While it's a pretty good compressor in it's own rites and probably worth the $10 regardless, the IK 670 Fairchild emulation is a very nice plugin that I'm glad I purchased back in one of the IK group buys on singles.
