Tab key when edit midi, does not work

I use tab key when stepping forward to the next midi note found in a midi arrangement, and tab + alt, when I want to step backward to one previous note.

All of a sudden, it does not work anymore, anyone knows why?

Hmm a bit of detective work needed here...

ALT+TAB = switching apps in WIN... so...

Oops, forgot, it´s Pro Tools LE 8.0.4, w/Mbox2 for Mac OSX 10.6.4.

Look at the picture, the white dot is where I currently am, usually, when i hit tab key, it steps to the next midi note (the note with the green ring), and when I hit tab + alt, it steps back one step (the purple note).

Now if I have not edit anything yet, I can step back and fourth between the notes with the tab key, but as soon as I start doing some changes, working with beat detective etc, it soon refuses to move. Sometimes it just jumps to the first note in the arrangement, and then refuses to move from there, sometimes it just jumps to the last note played in the arrangement and sits there instead.

Anyone had this problem, and/or knows how to deal with it?
