Alright, I'll try that tomorrow. But can someone explain why the melody I typed isn't a melody? I know nothing of theory. I tried doing it remembering how the song is. Suppose I have some trouble hearing whether some notes in a fast melody are higher or lower than the one next, or maybe I should listen to it carefully and check every note. I don't play a lot anyway, just an occasional wanker.

It's not even a big difference. And I did it by ear memory. I just thought maybe I managed to arrange the beginning so it would be very easy to play. Maybe I don't have such sharp note ear cos I'm not that experienced.

I don't know the scales. But does it have to be in a scale to sound good? I remember hearing there are melodies in COB such as Needled that aren't based on any scale?

Right click on them, and the click "Save As" this works for all of them except RRF tabs.

No, notes don't have to be in scales to sound good as long as they follow a "harmonic" pattern. Your notes a like write something on your keyboard with your nose or elbow.

What does "harmonic" pattern mean? Is the weird melody in AYDY "harmonic" or the first notes in the Not My Funeral chorus? I think not but they still serve a purpose by not being harmonic.
But ok I get it, that melody I wrote just sounds stupid.
