Would any of you Tacoma/Seattle area Maidens fans be interested in discussing the formation of a band? I play bass primarily but can play some guitar and keys as well. I'm a total hack on the drums.
I am open to many styles but was prefer hard or modern rock. OR....maybe a new tribute band? How about an all-male tribute to the Iron Maidens?
I would like to get to the point of playing clubs fairly regularly in the Puget Sound area. I have a good day job and won't be quitting that or anything at this point (some days I want to!). I did the full-time musician thing in Tacoma back a few years and while it was fun, it doesn't always pay the rent on its own. So, I do have club experience in the area, although most of the places we played have become casinos, it seems, or just went belly up...anyone remember Christies in Fife, Leslies out in Lakewood, the Great Wall of China or King's Palace?
