I'm recording a maple Starclassic kit previously owned by Abe Cunningham on the 11th.

Rented a big studio with a huge live room, killer board, Nuemann mics.

The only caveat is that the drummer tunes his toms kind of strangely. His rack toms are tuned super high.

But, I'll have room samples to go with the close-mic hits (probably U87 stereo pair on FOK).
