New South Park was pretty good. It's been terrible lately, but they got their shit together in the last year.

Predictions for Spartacas:The Egyptian will kill the Doktori. (SP?)

Spartacus is a little predictable because they're following the general historical facts.

Actually, it makes this season a total non-season because it's just Glaber getting nowhere near Spartacus and then the former eventually getting his ass beat by the latter. The now confirmed third season should be WAY better. The big boys come out to play, although I have no fucking idea why Caesar is going to be in it, he had no part in the servile war.

Well, they're different shows, really. It's unfair to compare the two, but, yeah, Rome is a much "better" show.

Yeah, they've cast Caesar and Crassus for the 3rd season. It fairly easy to see where they're going with the storyline. They're also stringing it out as long as they can because it's their most successful show.

Well, I got some of it right.

Now we know they will be following in the foot steps of the comic and heading to the prison. I couldn't help but nerdrage at the way Michonne held her katana, though.

Dexter returns in September and I couldn't care less. That last season was abysmal. I predict he's going to act like it was his first killing and Deb will believe it. Nevermind the boring antagonist.

Justified is damn good

Late to this thread, but before reading this I was going to recommend Justified. It's the latest series I've finished watching, and I can't wait for the fourth season to begin. I think it's probably about as good as Breaking Bad.

Oh, and yeah, Mad Men is actually pretty fucking good too. I didn't really know what to expect via the description, but a lot of people really liked that show. Now I know why.

Well, I'm convinced, then. Since Breaking Bad is the best show ever made.

You really need to go into the first few episodes with an open mind. Initially I thought it was going to lose my interest fairly quickly, but the show does the opposite. It builds up momentum through each season.

First episode was good but I have to ask, is this show like House in the way that aside from a few "To Be Continued"s every episode is stand alone and there isn't a main season wide conflict?

If it is, I don't think I wanna watch it.

Each season has it's own story arc. House bored me to tears, so I never got past the first season. Every episiode felt the same.

So to answer you more specifically; each episode of Justified is tied to the next and kind of important to watch. I get exactly where you're coming from too. That's why I said you need to watch the first few episodes with an open mind. Initially it seemed like it was going to be lame like Walker, Texas Ranger or something.

Every season as a bad guy or a group of bad guys for Raylan to deal with, so there is definitely a story arc for each season.

It's fantastic. It's in my top 5, big time.

hmm ok sounds like i need to revisit Justified. i watched the first few episodes as they were coming out cause im a big fan of timmy oliphant and westernish stuff and when the main character shoots lots of people. i liked the show, i just kinda forgot about trying to follow it.
