Greetings all, its been a long time since I've posted around here. I created a new profile of my 6505 on the green channel into a Marshall cab with V30s and miced with an SM57 and I'm just testing it out in a new mix. No boost, but I did use the clarity knob to sharpen the pick attack and remove the muddiness which is an amazing feature. Let me know what you think.

Here's the Kemper profiles:
This is the original profile with its default definition and clarity. I boost this profile with a real 808 tube screamer.

This one is the profile with the Kemper's clarity feature turned up which sounds great on my 7 string guitar, but odd with everything else. This is the profile used on this track without a tube screamer.

Nice tone, I like how the natural sag of the 6505 feels like it's pretty much exactly on tempo with the chugs and riffs. :)

Stop testing and release the damned album already, arghrshdsfdhsfkjhsadjk

Jesus, I'm terrible. I know, I know. BUT, it is almost impossible to get a dedicated amount of solid time to work on a real project when you've got crazy little 5 and 7 year old kids running around the house. I get 30 minute blocks to mix here and there.

Send me the tracks and it'll be done by May! :fu:

In all seriousness, I get it man. The family lifestyle is consuming. Here's to hoping you get some more free time to wrap it up. It's been such a long, long time coming now. You were demoing these songs while the PODxt was still fresh.

Sounds cool man! I think I'd personally love a tiny boost around 2-4k to give it a little presence, that might be just me tho, yours might work better with vocals on top. Overall I think the tone has a perfect amout of drive :)
