Jason Becker is a god. Unfortunately he was a god. Marty Friedman is a great guitarist too, but i saw an early cacophony video. There were both Jason and Marty. Nothing was wrong, they played heavy solos, but if you looked playing Jason, it seemed Marty is lame as hell.

no it was 14... but it doesnt seem like that much of a bullshit given that his "wisconsin guitar solo" was recorded at 16, and there are various forums on the net that have users that have known jeff since that age and can vouge for his virtuosity.
