THANK YOU!

I'm so glad to hear everything went well! Make your daughter as comfortable as possible for now, and keep her in good spirits. But, what I've learned from my own little boy...they're much tougher than you think. :) Keep us updated about Zoe.

Really happy to hear the surgery went well, I wish her a fat recovery! keep us updated!

Absolutely agr ... wait, wut?

sorry, had to throw a little humor in here .. its the best medecine right? ;)

But in all seriousness ... VERY happy to hear everything went well Ivan. And what Mark said is true ... kids bounce back really quick. I guess maybe cause they're still all squishy inside or something :D

Awesome news man :kickass:

So, so happy to hear it went well Ivan! I know the relief that comes from knowing you child is out of surgery A-OK.

This may sound corny, but knowing that we were able to help, even in a small way, sure makes for an excellent early Christmas gift. I know reading your updates just now has put a huge smile on my face.

Best of luck to you and the family!!!!!

Glad to hear it went well - I wish I could have contributed earlier, but if there's still any need (recovery costs can hurt, from what I understand) send me a message and I'll be glad to help.

Jeff

JBroll, were fine for now, man. Thanks anyway :) But if you have a better place for me to work and pay my bills, then I'll be all over you heehehe

Zoe update: Zoe is fine guys. She's not so sad anymore, she's doing her prank-ish things she always does (she's a fun girl. She'd be a great doing stand up comedy, unlike her sister, whose inspiration is not so good for doing fun), the only problem being the fact that she has not pooped since thursday, so that's one whole week full of shit in the belly - you guys know it hurts. Her back / scar is also itching a lot , but that is common.

The surgery had a better outcome than what the doctor expected: her femoral head is very round shaped , it fit perfectly on the iliac bone, so it was easier/quicker. She had a little problem on the femoral head (it was inverted), but that was also corrected. THe recovery is kinda tedious, so not much news besides her well being can be expected until she takes the cast off. We will do some x-rays on january 5th so we'll have at least some news regarding the bone healing process.

The coolest part is that she's dealing RELLY well with this situation. Zoe is a very agitated girl, she was NEVER quiet, and being held on a bed or wherever for 6 weeks is not an easy task. She's dealing perfectly with the situation, and her her maturity is well beyond her age. She understand perfectly that she needs this for her good and is accepting this greatly.

For the xmas eve, we hired a fake Santa to give the gifts the family bought her. I will post some pics for you guys :D

Cheers
Ivan

For the poop thing, you can check out Senokot S. It's a natural fiber pill that helps with constipation.

This thread touches my heart in such a way that words can't even explain.

This is truly the greatest forum on the interwebz! :kickass: Wish I could have helped.
