THANK YOU!

Oh yeah, her pediatrician told us to give her a syrup to aid the constipation thing, so I guess that on a couple of days she'll be fine. We're also giving her plenty of orange juice, papaya and other foods that help this. I think the psychological part of the thing that's hampering her pooping. She was almost leaving the diapers, and now she can't sit on the toilet and stuff. But eventually she'll learn to deal with it. It will be just scary to deal with one week worth of poop hehhe

if she's taking a lot of pain medicine thats most likely the cause, especially anything opiate based but even other prescription strength pain meds can do that. Do what you're doing and it'll, ummm, all work itself out ;)

So very glad to hear that things are going well man!:kickass:

Merry Christmas to you and your family Ivan

Niall, hey man thanks for the kind words. Like I said before, every little help was a actually a HUGE help. I am very thankful for everything you guys did and every bit of love my daughter has received.

Guys, here are some pics from our xmas with a fake Santa. We waited for the old man 'til 1am (it is 3am in here, and I am zombie-ing of so much tiredness) and despite being really tired with the recovery and all the meds she's taking, Zoe was VERY happy seeing Santa and receiving her gifts from him. It was actually kinda cool, he sang some of those xmas songs, he conducted a prayer for Zoe (well, I am not a praying guy, but it was cute)..It was a very emotive moment. There were a couple of annoying moments too, but i gotta learn how to send those to the trash hehhe So, some pics (sorry for the low quality. My cell phone cam is just 2mp good):

Came back here just to see how it went. Glad it worked out!

By the way, is she taking narcotic painkillers (morphine, tramal, etc)? If so, that's the why she's constipated. Plum ("ameixa") juice did the trick for me. I used to call it "Cagol" when I had to drink it at the hospital :hotjump:
