Replacement is such an awesome tool- but fuck man tuning drums and setting up the mics and getting natural close/room tones is like one of the funnest parts, post processing too... It sounds good but the whole dependency and laziness it has caused bums me out. They may have recorded in a home studio environment or were missing important resources but that's a really nice acrylic kit in the video. I bet a band funded by a Sumerian contract could have done differently... idk

I love those avatar toms and currently, I'm finding myself in a position having to programm drums for a production and I will certainly use them over the metal foundry ones.
